Meet Lisa and Her Unique Approach

 Lisa Griffith MA OTR/L

  Independent Occupational Therapist

It is my mission to provide an individualized, immersive, and holistic therapy approach that encompasses all of your child and family’s needs

Hello and thank you for visiting Leetaloo Therapy.  I have been asked what does “Leetaloo” mean.

When I was a little girl, paintbrush ponytails and all, my aunt would say I was always skipping around with a joyful, carefree smile. She called me her little “Leetaloo“. I remember her with a loving heart .

It is my hope that this feeling of being carefree, grounded, and secure will be experienced by every child I treat.  It is when a child’s mind and body is balanced and fluid that he/she can experience joy and a sense of purpose and belonging . There also has to be an environment of peace and understanding that comes when parents/ caregivers are supported and gain knowledge of what is really going on within the child and parent as well .

I would describe my therapy approach as unique for many reasons.  Simply put , I treat in a natural setting and seek to find the ROOT CAUSE of what is going on . This takes time and patience and is not found in standardized testing or within a session or two.

It is like a tree- if a therapist only evaluates at the leaf level then they miss the underlying reasons at the root level.

My diverse and extensive background has led me to a unique approach to therapy .
